Chelsea Brasted is the general manager at Sidecar. She joined the team as content manager in 2019 and has been looking for ways to help association professionals grow by getting connected with great ideas ever since. In previous roles, she worked at The Times-Picayune newspaper in her native New Orleans, where she still lives with her husband and two rescue dogs.
Julia DeBell joined Sidecar in 2022 as marketing associate. Through email, social media and website management, she supports the reach of impactful content and the growth of the Sidecar community.
Julia graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with degrees in Strategic Communications and Sociology. She lives in Denver, Colorado, where she enjoys spending time in the sun and keeping up with the city’s art scene.
Tamer Ezzat is Sidecar’s video editor. He’s a curious filmmaker with a unique visual style. He studied digital special effects and has been working in media for more than 20 years. When he’s not editing, he enjoys biking and laying on the sandy beaches of Long Island, where he lives with wife and daughter.
Taylor Gilbertson joined the Sidecar team in 2022 as our Business Development Lead. He brings a variety of Sales and Marketing experience with a willingness to tackle new problems and engage an audience. Taylor loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and is always easy to approach. When he’s not advocating for Sidecar he’s probably traveling, hiking, skiing, or playing volleyball. Taylor and his wife Bridget live in beautiful Boise, Idaho.
Ashley Neal joined the Sidecar team as Community Coordinator in March of 2020, right as the COVID-19 pandemic began to shut down life as we knew it. Having to adapt, overcome and predict the changes needed to survive in the new normal, Ashley now has the skills needed to juggle any obstacle thrown her way.
A soon-to-be graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University in the field of Strategic Communications, Ashley spends her days balancing her work and education with her love of dogs. Taking her three dogs — Scooby, Pipsqueak and Moose — to restaurants, hiking trails, vacations and even participating in dog shows and sports is the highlight of her weekends.
Jennifer Neydon is Sidecar’s educational content producer. After over fifteen years of educating and inspiring students, she understands the impact of meeting the learner’s needs through meaningful content interaction and engagement. Jennifer is a certified educator and was awarded Florida’s High Impact Teacher by Florida’s Department of Education. She holds a Bachelor's degree in education from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Ashley Satterfield has nearly a decade of experience in event planning, spanning corporate, non-profits, and weddings (yes, bridezillas are real). She is a graduate of University of South Florida, where she studied ancient history and women’s studies. Ashley lives in Katy, TX with her husband Jimmy and handles logistics for Sidecar's live events while her schnoodle, Lily, snores under her desk.
Jose Triana joined the Sidecar team in 2021 as Content Manager. He’s been writing for as long as he can remember, and once he realized he could turn it into a career, never looked back. Today he creates content for purpose-driven organizations focused on educating and engaging their leaders and members. He lives in Miami with his wife, dog, and a menagerie of other animals that make their way into the yard.
